What is Busy Buddies ?
Busy Buddies is a unique parent-interactive play programme for babies
and toddlers from 3 months to 4 years. It provides an opportunity for you and
your child to spend quality, stimulating time together and to have FUN.

Our Mission
To inspire parents and their children to laugh, play, learn and have tremendous
fun TOGETHER.
We are passionate about giving every child the best opportunity to reach
their full potential.

Importance of the early years
Research has shown that a child’s brain develops the fastest in the first
three years of life. Each new experience which a child is exposed to,
allows opportunities for different sensory information, thus enhancing the
opportunities for development.
The first years of a child’s life are critical for laying the essential building blocks
required for later learning. Inadequate development of these foundation skills
may result in underachievement and even later learning difficulties at school.
With adequate knowledge, parents can do so much to help their children achieve
their full potential.

At Busy Buddies we provide parents with special time together with their child to play and
 have fun in an environment enriched with many stimulating ideas and many
sensory-motor PLAY opportunities. As such we aim to optimize children’s development
 and assist them to learn to their full potential in an environment where they feel safe
and confident to explore and play.

Our Focus
The focus of our programme is on movement and sensory stimulation as research shows this is where learning begins. Children learn through their bodies as they interact with their environment. It is through these early experiences that the all important building blocks and foundations for later learning are laid down. At Busy Buddies we optimize learning opportunities through playful exercises, dancing and playing on special colourful, child-oriented equipment. These activities allow children opportunities for jumping, rocking, crawling, climbing, sliding, swinging and spinning through space – all of which are essential for development. A variety of other fun-filled play activities ensure a well rounded programme.

Development of the whole child
We pride ourselves on offering a well rounded programme aimed at enhancing sensory and motor development, fine and gross motor skills, creativity, language development, cognitive and perceptual skills, social and emotional development, and self-confidence.

You are your child’s first and MOST important teacher.
At Busy Buddies we recognize there is NO substitute for a loving, enthusiastic, involved parent for enhancing the development of a child. Children thrive on the one-on-one interaction and quality time spent with a loving parent at Busy Buddies. Children are also secure to explore their environment as they have the security of their parent right there along side them, sharing in all their new experiences with love and enthusiasm.
